As I advised in my blog article of July 15th, 2014, I had an opportunity to write a paper on Japan's adoption of collective self-defense and a crisis of democracy under supervision of Harvard professors and instructor this summer.
The title of the paper is "Belated Democratization of Japan in the Area of National Security – A Constitutional Perspective".
The paper is about an institutional and constitutional flaw in Japan's national security process. It is an academic paper, not a policy paper. It was written from a democratic standpoint, not from a partisan standpoint.
After reading my paper, a Harvard instructor provided a comment saying, "I found this paper to be terrifically interesting—thank you for that. And, in general, it is well-argued and the institutional perspective you deploy was persuasive. So I commend you for it and wish your success in getting your ideas out to a wider audience."
A Harvard Professor provided a comment that my comparing Japanese Constitution with the US and German Constitutions was perfect.
Thus, I would appreciate it if you would kindly read it. Especially, please pay attention to the Appendix "Proposal: Draft model articles on civilian control over the military for the Japanese Constitution".
I would like to keep my study on the subject and improving my paper.
I hope that the paper would contribute to the peace and stability of the East Asia.

論文のタイトルは、「安全保障の分野における日本の民主化の遅れ ー 憲法の観点から」です。
論文は、日本の国家安全保障過程における、制度的な、憲法上の瑕疵(かし)に関するものです。学術的論文であり、政策的文書ではありません。民主主義の観点から書かれたものであり、党派的文書ではありません。
同論文読了後、ハーバード大学の講師の方から、「TERRIFICALLY INTERESTINGな論文です。感謝します。全体的に、良く議論されており、制度的観点からの論述は、説得的です。賞賛に値する論文です。ご自身の主張が、多くのみなさんの目に触れることを願っています。」とのコメントをいただきました。
また、ハーバード大学の教授の方からは、「日本国憲法とアメリカ合衆国憲法・ドイツ憲法との比較が、きわめて的確です。」というコメントをいただきました。
