I attended Manhattan Chamber Of Commerce Green Quarterly Networking Meeting which was a part of Climate Week NYC. The meeting was held at a conference room of a law firm in a building facing the Times Square.
Three persons made presentations. An environment & energy lawyer made a great presentation on the latest US legislations on clean energies.The next person made a presentation on community level networking and climate change. Finally, New York city officials made a presentation on green career high schools.
After the presentations, attendees of the meeting exchanged business cards and exchanged precious informations. I provided to them information on Japanese and German latest renewable energy policies and markets.
I enjoyed conversations with a solar engineering professor, a business development manager of the leading demand & response company, an environment & energy lawyer, a finance lawyer, an official of Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, and so on.
I am looking forward to having follow up meetings with these people during my staying in New York.

3名の方がプレゼンテーションを行ないました。環境・エネルギー分野の弁護士の方が、クリーンエネルギーに関する最近のアメリカの立法動向について、プレゼンテーションを行ないました。次の方は、地域レベルでのネットワークの形成と気候変動についてプレゼンテーションを行ないました。最後に、ニューヨーク市当局のみなさんが、環境ビジネス専門高校についてプレゼンテーションを行ないました。
プレゼンテーションのあと、ミーティング参加者は、名刺の交換を行ない、貴重な情報交換を行なうことが出来ました。私は、日本とドイツの最新の再生可能エネルギー政策および市場動向について、お伝えすることが出来ました。
私は、太陽電池工学の大学教授、デマンド・レスポンス分野のトップ企業のビジネス開発マネージャー、環境・エネルギー分野の弁護士、金融分野の弁護士、台湾経済省の顧問、等々のみなさんとお話をすることが出来ました。
ニューヨーク滞在中に、これらのみなさんとフォローアップ・ミーティングを持つことが楽しみです。
