ミルトン・キーンズに住むおばさんが、ロンドンで買い物をしたいと言ってきたので、そこで会おうと提案してきた。
それは私にとって都合がいい。ロンドンを歩き回るのが好きですし、ミルトン・キーンズまで行く手間も省けるからです。ミルトン・キーンズに行くのは構わないのだが、まだ風邪が治っていない。
旅行に行くわけではないけれど、まだ回復途中で疲れているので、しっかり休んで体を労わる必要がある。
My Aunt from Milton Keynes told me that she’d like to visit London for some shopping and suggested we meet there.
That works well for me, since I enjoy walking around London and it saves me the trip to Milton Keynes. Although I don’t mind visiting Milton Keynes, my cold is still lingering.
Even though I’m not travelling there, I need to make sure I rest and take care of myself, as I’m still recovering and feeling tired.
