I've finally signed a contract, and I'm impressed with how efficient people in the UK are. When I went to both the council and the bank to sort out some documents, each took less than 30 minutes, far quicker than the usual hour it takes for similar tasks in Hong Kong.
I immediately handed the paperwork to the company that offered me a job. By the time I got home, I had already received the contract, and I'll be starting work on March 11th before completing the background check.
