今日はLee Kam Keeというアジアの会社とオンラインでの一回面接を受けました。面接官は中国人と日本人の2人でした。
広告に勤務時間が記載されていなかったのが不思議だったので、面接の最後にその点について尋ねました。通常の勤務時間は午前 8:30 から午後 5:30 ですが、香港オフィスとの会議などがあるため、午前 8:00 から出勤しなければならないこともあるとのことでした。また、午後5時半に帰る人はほとんどおらず、9時、あるいは10時まで残業する従業員もいます。
私はあまり細かいことにこだわりがある方ではありませんが、この情報を聞くと、もし二回面接の頼むがあったら受けるかどうか迷ってしまいます。
I had a simply online first interview with an Asian company called Lee Kam Kee today. There were two interviewers, one Chinese and one Japanese.
It felt strange that they didn’t mention their working hours in the advert, so I brought it up at the end of the interview. They told me that regular hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, but sometimes they have meetings with Hong Kong office so sometimes require starting at 8:00 am. Also, people typically don’t leave at 5:30 pm; some employees stay until 9:00 or even 10:00 pm.
I'm not someone who is picky, but this information makes me question whether I would accept a second interview if invited.
