土曜日の感謝祭のイベントために、クラスメイトのお店にお菓子を買いに行きました。
クラスメイトに「昨日はなぜ授業をサボったの？」と聞かれたので、理由を話して、次は二度としないと約束しました。
店主はとても親切な人で、昨日授業を欠席することになった何かが起こったのかと私にメッセージを送ってきました。
I went to my classmate’s shop to buy some snacks for the Thanksgiving event on Saturday.
My classmate asked me "why did you skip lesson yesterday"? I told him the reason, and I promised that I won’t do it again next time.
The shop owner is a nice person; he sent text messages to ask me if something happened that made me skip the class yesterday.
