イギリスで30℃になると、ただ暑いと感じるだけですが、香港では30℃は耐え難く、まるで沸騰しているかのようです。
もちろん、地域によって天候が異なることは知っています。たとえば、イギリスの北部と南部の気候は異なります。もしかしたら、他の地域の人々が天気についてどう感じているか、私には完全に理解できていないのかもしれません。
I've heard many Hongkongers say they don't like the weather in the UK, especially in winter when it's always raining.
Having lived here for 10 months, I think the UK's weather is much better than Hong Kong's. For example, it's 12 degrees Celsius right now in the UK, that feels perfectly fine to me, but in Hong Kong, 12 degrees feels freezing.
When it's 30 degrees in the UK, I just feel hot; in Hong Kong, 30 degrees feels unbearable, almost like boiling.
Of course, I know different regions experience the weather differently, for instance, the north of the UK has a different climate compared to the south. Maybe I don't fully understand how people in other areas feel about the weather.
