Two years ago, while I was on my way to the Dazai Osamu Museum (Shayokan) in Aomori, Japan, I met a friendly Japanese gentleman on the train. Today, I noticed that he posted photos on Instagram from his visit to the museum yesterday. He told me that my own photos of Shayokan inspired him to go, as he found them so beautiful that he decided to see the place for himself.

His taste is excellent, and his photography skills are impressive. Shayokan isn’t just a visually stunning location—it’s also rich in Japanese history and culture. It is worth preserving it. Through the museum, I could appreciate the stylishness of Dazai Osamu’s father.
