忙しい今週でしたが楽しい時間もありました。
それは水曜日に久しぶりに友人に会ったからでした。
彼女はFort Lauderdaleに住んでいた時の友人でKumikoです。
This week was pretty bsuy but I had my moments.
It wass because I met my frind in Wednesday after a long interval.
Her name is Kumiko, one of my friend,who had lived in Fort Lauderdale.

彼女は久しぶりに年末に４週間ほどフロリダへ行っていたとのことでした。
さっそく居酒屋に入り、懐かしい学校のことや街の様子がずいぶん変わってしまったこと、友人たちのその後など色々情報交換をして居酒屋でビールを飲みながら盛り上がったのでした。

After blocking control, we went soon to izakaya, Japanese pub, and enjoyed talking about nostargic school, the changes of city and our common friends'afterword stories with beer.
さっそく居酒屋に入り、懐かしい学校のことや街の様子がずいぶん変わってしまったこと、友人たちのその後など色々情報交換をして居酒屋でビールを飲みながら盛り上がったのでした。

フロリダ滞在中はBarbaraの家に泊まっていたということでしたがそのBarbaraの家は私もよくお世話になったところというわけでBarbaraからプレゼントを預かってきたというのでした。
Then I got a delightful gift from her.
She satyed at Barbara's house and I was also under Barabara's roof, therefore, she has kept a gift from Barbara.

私の好きなマイアミヒート(NBA)のシャキールオニールのジャージーでした。さすがBarabara,私のツボをおさえていますね。私が以前出張でミシガンやシカゴへ行ったとき、買おうと思っていたがアメリカではローカルのチームのグッズしか売っていないので手に入らなかったとe-mailしたのを覚えていてくれたのでした。

遠く離れた友人をたずねて久しぶりにFort.Lauderdaleを訪れたKumiko,そして同じく遠く離れた友人へこうしてプレゼントを贈ってくれるBarbara,こういう関係っていいですよね。いつまでも築いていたいもの
ですね。なにかとてもうれしくなったエピソードでした。
