Scientific research shows fatty acids need to be complete in order to be beneficial. This means all eight members of the omega 3 family are important to your health. And they should be in perfect balance, just like they are in nature.

Many have heard of ALA, EPA and DHA, because these are the most publicized omega 3s. However, SDA, ETA(3), ETA, HPA and DPA are just as important.

And when the entire family of omega 3 fatty acids are present and balanced, they're much more effective than any individual fatty acid alone.

So look for natural supplements that have all eight omega 3s.

Make an omega 3 comparison.

Also be sure there are no hidden, unlabeled oils. You can do this by adding up the fatty acids listed on the label or going to to see a comparison. If the product ingredients don't add up, you're not getting what the label is claiming.

Most supplements don't fit the requirements established by valid scientific research. This includes those endorsed by big name doctors in white lab coats.

Marketing is generally designed to distract you from the important facts. But if you educate yourself, you'll be able to find the best for you.
