神様からの手紙
今回は、スクォートの神様と呼ばれる（彼の功績はスクォートだけではないのだが）ジム・スナイダーから来たメールを紹介します。

It's nice to hear from you too! I am looking forward to seeing you again! Nihon wa itsumo omoshirokatta to omoimasu.
I think everybody will really love Noah- he is a great guy with sparkling eyes.
I feel like the OR show was a bit slow- but Tom Strauss landed a 6,000 unit order from his Australian distributor- so it all went well.
But- I got to meet Steve Fisher and Mick Hopkinson and Seth Warren and Trip Jennings- so I got to meet a lot of famous people. Trip Jennings was just back from a first descent of a section of the Congo which had 1.2 million cfs! (40,000 tonnes)

神様日本語が上手でしょ？
英文も私に理解できるよう簡単な文章ですね。
英語のandの使い方は学校で習ったのとは違いますが（笑）
面白い（カワイイ）のは下線部分、（下線は私が引いたものです）スティーブ・フィッシャーやミック・ホプキンソン、セス・ウォーレン、トリップ・ジェニングス、有名なカヤッカーに会ったよと自慢している所。
多分、逆にスティーブやセス、トリップはジムと話した事を嬉しく思っているはず。
しかし、トリップ・ジェニングスのアフリカ、コンゴのファーストディセント、４０，０００トンって凄すぎて想像ができないですね。
おそらくビデオ化されて発売されるのでしょうが、楽しみですね。
ところで、このブログをご覧の皆さん、PLAYAKってサイトの「KAYAK ＆ CANOE NEWS」って、もう御存知ですよね。

ラスティ・セージのインタビューです。
彼に会ったのは未だ彼が１０代の頃、新車のトヨタ・タコマ（ハイラックスのデカイ奴）に乗っていて、金持ちのボンボンって印象でした。しかし、彼も今や２７歳！
時の流れを感じますねぇ。
サーフカヤックはアメリカで静かなブームとなりつつあるようで、秋にはサーフのDVDも発売されるという話も有ります。
