９月８日東京 ハリウッド女優で歌手でもあるシェール（Cher）は、
彼女の性転換した息子チャズ・ボノ（Chaz Bono）を、アメリカの
有名なTV番組『ダンシング・ウィズ・スターズ』（Dancing With the Stars）
に出演させる決定をしたことで、大きな批判を浴びています。
これに対し、国際ラエリアン・ムーブメントの精神的指導者ラエルは、
この母と息子を支援するメッセージを送り、国際ラエリアン・ムーブメント
の会員および他の人々にも、同様の行動を取るよう呼びかけました。
チャズ・ボノは、昨年、女性から男性になる性転換手術を受けました。
世界９０ヶ国に８５，０００人の会員がいるラエリアンたちの中には、
異性愛者と共に、多くのゲイ、レズビアン、バイセクシュアル、異性装者、
トランスジェンダーがいます。
「ラエリアン哲学は、全ての性的指向は受け容れられるものであり、
それらは非難されたり冷笑されたりせずに、楽しまれるものだと教えて

urges Raelians and others to applaud and defend them.
Tokyo, Sep.8. With Hollywood singer/actress Cher lambasting
critics of the decision to cast her transgender son, Chaz Bono,
on the popular TV show “Dancing With the Stars”,
Rael, the spiritual leader of International Raelian Movement (IRM) ,
today issued a message of support for both mother and son and
called upon members of the IRM to do the same.
Chaz Bono had female-to-male sex change surgery last year.
Raelians, found in over 90 countries, number some 85,000, including
many homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals, transvestites and transgender
individuals along with heterosexuals.
“The Raelian philosophy teaches that all sexual orientations are
acceptable and that they are to be enjoyed, not stigmatized or ridiculed.”
Michio Ito, the Japanese Raelian Movement leader said.
“Dancing with the Stars” Executive Producer Conrad Green and
Herndon Graddick, the show’s senior programming director, are to be
commended for seeking to represent a wider range of contestants and
for standing by their decision under duress."
“Rael asks all freedom lovers to pledge their support for Bono and Cher,
Green and Graddick on Web sites, in blogs and in other social medias,”
