Most of the people who are learning English like learning English, I suppose. These people seem to be very happy when learning English. I envy them because I don’t like English so much. I sometimes lack energy to learn English.
Why am I learning English? The answer is "from necessity". In other words, for me, English is an instrument to gather or analyze information needed. However, a poor instrument can reduce the efficiency of information gathering. I have been stuck in that situation.
How can I get out of the situation? The answer is very clear; reinforce my English proficiency is the solution. As a mater of fact, I have not been learning English intensively. I have to get out of comfort zone, and have to resolve my weaknesses in English skill.
To learn effectively, I have to prioritize what is reinforced. Firstly, It's grammar of English. Grammar rules are essential to write or speak English. I will use the book-English Grammar in Use, which is very good book.. Secondly, the reinforcement of vocabularies is a must.
Basically, I am reading books or articles which I am interested in. Probably it's ok as far as I keep the status quo. But I don’t. I would like to improve my English abilities as much as I can. I'd like to read broader genre of books, and acquire broader knowledge.
And thirdly...that's all for today. I can't do a lot of things simultaneously, and step-by-step approach is of use. Above mentioned things are the outline of my short-term plan to refine my English skill. Anyway, I'll pull my socks up!
