で、セールスマンのStoneさんは、
「いやだ」 （彼の先週亡くなったおばあさんは、相手チームのファンだった）
なら、「クビだ、なんか文句あるか？」とマネージャ。
そして・・・
クビのNEWは、世界中に流れた。・・
Bears ファンは、「クビに賛成」、でもPackesファンは、「車を買うから、雇いなおせ」って、電話が、あふれた。ずーっと遠いカリフォルニアからも電話がかかった。
As the 34-year-old salesman's story attracted international attention Tuesday, Roberts said he became inundated with calls from not only Bears fans supporting his decision, but also Packers fans demanding he rehire Stone so they could buy a car from him.

The amount of feedback prompted Roberts to say he would be willing to let Stone return to work at the Oak Lawn Chevy dealership if he decided to show up, according to the Tribune.
But Stone said he is not planning to return.

ライバルのディーラーがStoneさんを雇うらしいので。
こちらでは、ボスが気に入らないと、その場でクビにできるって、採用契約が普通だしね。
