Meet New People

I had a language exchange with a girl and after that I went to a language exchange group. I met three more students who are studying Japanese. One is a nikkei third or fourth generation girl, one is a boy whose father is American and mother is Japanese from Japan, and the last one is Filipino boy. Also, there are seven Japanese students there, including me. I was the only one who goes to my school and the rest go to English language schools. They came to this country just 3-6 months ago, but they speak English very well. Even though their pronunciation is Japanese, but they don't hesitate speaking English. Especially a Japanese girl who is from kansai spoke a lot. So I again confirmed that whether speaking English improve fast or not depends on one's character. I still have problems speaking and listening English, but when I am confident about myself, I can communicate in English more easily. So the fact I am not from Kansai is maybe not helpful about my English skill, but I try not to care about it and just try to speak more every time I get the chance!
