は英語訳すると、風と共に去りぬ
という意味です。
世の中の今と言う時間は、風のように次の瞬間には過去になっていき、日々展開される世界の中で私たちは生きています。
僕は新潟で育ち、今は東京に住んでいますが、休みで実家に帰るたびに、少しづつ街の景色は変わっていきます。
幼い頃住見ていた慣れ親しんだ光景も今はもう思い出せなくなってきました。
すごく寂しいことですが、時代によってそれはしかたのない事です。
自分も、みんなも日々変わっていきます。
昔遊んでいたけど今は連絡先すら分からない友達、愛を誓いあったが別れてしまった彼女。
いつも遊んでいる仲間や仕事であったり、日々変わっていきます。
変わらないものなどないかもしれない。
けれど、僕には変わらない夢があります。
うれしい事があった時、悲しい事があった時など、一人で思いにふける場所があります。
風が吹く丘。
自分の取り巻く環境も社会も日々変わっていくのだけど、僕の中で掲げた変わる事のない思い。
来るたびに強く心に刻みます。
叶えた時も、その後もずっとここの場所をまた訪れたい。
そんな思いをこの曲にしました。
