A friend and I were staying at the Rothorn hut above Zermatt in mid August and thought the Trifthorn looked a good option for a shortish day. The normal route from the Rothorn Hut goes up and down a fine AD ridge,Nike Free Powerlines 2 UK, but to get to the start of the ridge (and to descend from it) involves an absolutely hideous broad couloir which(when bare of snow, as it was in August) is full of unstable rock and stones of all sizes. It is not very steep but it is practically impossible to avoid dislodging stuff. There is potential for some serious rockfall. A friend of mine "reads" the Daily Mirror - poor chap. Whenever I visit him I occasionally glance at it but I have to say I find it difficult to consider it as a newspaper,Nike Free 5.0 UK, let alone a serious one. Invariably the front page seems to be devoted to which "celebrity" has screwed whom. Sometimes, after wading through other puerile tittle tattle there might occasionally be an item relating to "serious" news.This seems to be a similar format to some other tabloids. A friend of mine does fashion and is interested in this area. Maybe I will get some free custom gear ;). She asked me what I thought was missing or was not quite up to the job in climbing clothing, and I struggled to give a few vague answers. A friend of mine has had a libelous comment printed about them in a local newspaper. They have not been named by the paper but the libelous comment has been printed in a story about their child who has been named. The main thing my friend wants is a retraction printed by the newspaper but if they wish to sue for damages, would they sue the paper or the person the paper quoted as making the libelous claim?JC
