Anyone used one?I'm after a sleeping bag cover for my 400g RAB down bag which is just standard pertex. It'll be used for multi-day UK back-packing trips (October through to March) and possibly a very occasional night snow-holing and the RAB Survival Zone Lite looks ideal.Other alternatives I've been looking at are both the new (2014) and old versions of the Terra Nova Moonlite bag cover. Many thanks.... not showing 4 replies to this topic ...Register as a New User or login to gain full access to the forums. This has come up on forums before, but there are almost too many options...You want to get back from the summit of High Man to your bag at the base of, say, Rib and Slab or to tick both classic rock routes. From the photos it looks like Old West is the best way down but all the books say to use Slab in Notch. Which is best?I only have the old select guide and don't have the scrambles book either. I assume Old West goes down the north ridge to Low Man then traverses across into West Cove. All sounds ver complicated...... not showing 18 replies to this topic ...Register as a New User or login to gain full access to the forums. If anyone finds a slightly old, smelly Roclite 268 left shoe somewhere on Little Chamonix (lost this evening, weds 18 june),Nike Free 3.0 V5 Womens Fluorescence Green, then it is mine! One of them csme adrift from the carabiner on my harness - very probably on that precarious move from the slopey rock across the gap...If found, can you hand it in to Shepherd's caff so I can pick it up :-). I love those shoes and they've stopped making them like that anymore so they are irreplaceable! Thanks for your help :-)FionaPost edited at 23:21... not showing 2 replies to this topic ...Register as a New User or login to gain full access to the forums. I'm climbing in Llanberis next week and I'm looking for someone to walk my dog during the day for a couple of days between 26-29 Jun so that I can get up some further afield, longer routes. Her name is Echo and she's a type of retriever (1 1/2 yrs old) - ie loveable, affectionate and (mostly) obedient. happy to chat and provide recompense for the effort. If no one suitable tips up - no problem I will tailor my days to suit.... not showing 2 replies to this topic ...Register as a New User or login to gain full access to the forums. Can anyone recommend a decent pen to write on a lamfold OS map that I can subsequently remove? I'm looking for something fine,Nike Free 4.0 V2 Womens, that won't wash off with rain but will wipe off with the right solvent and won't absorb into the laminate. Any ideas?... not showing 9 replies to
