On May 17, the third "Greater Bay Area Media Visits Maoming" event, co-hosted by Hong Kong Commercial Daily and the Publicity Department of the Maoming Municipal Committee, commenced with a departure ceremony at the Shenzhen Press Group. This event aims to showcase the significant achievements in Maoming's industrial economy and cultural construction in recent years, and to promote Maoming's rural revitalization and the outstanding results of the "Hundreds of Thousands" project to Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area.

The media team for this event includes Hong Kong Commercial Daily, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Shenzhen Evening News, Hong Kong Economic Herald, Macau Daily News, and the Shenzhen Hong Kong-Macau Media Association. They will provide multi-perspective, multi-faceted, multi-timed, and multi-platform reports to the world, highlighting Maoming's industrial development and social progress as a new model of rural development in Guangdong.

During the three-day media tour, the team will conduct on-site interviews in various locations across Maoming. These include visits to the Chenxiang Museum in Dianbai District, an exclusive interview with Hong Kong entrepreneur Liu Jia Jian at the Liu Tao Creative Industry Park, trips to the First Beach of China's Coastal Tourism, aerial photography of the Romantic Coast, and exploring the history and modern cultivation base of Huajuhong in Huazhou. The journalists will also visit the Open-Pit Mine Museum to reflect on the 60-year history of the "Good Heart Lake" created by southern oil workers, while experiencing the natural beauty, year-round fruit fragrance, thriving industries, and renowned hospitality of Maoming.

Coinciding with the Eighth China Lychee and Longan Industry Conference, this event will enable the journalists to document Maoming's social harmony and economic revitalization, showcasing the unique charm of Maoming, the Pearl of Western Guangdong, to the nation and the world.
