デデ氏の番組だったことは間違いない。
翌日、学校が終わるのももどかしく、レコード屋に飛び込んだ。
1975 リリースと言うことなので、中学生の頃か・・・。
音楽を聴いて腰を抜かすほどビックリするというのはそうそうある経験ではないというか、ぼくの場合は、生涯でこれ一回こっきりだ。

レゲエなんて言うのはまだまだ認知されていない時代だった。
ぼくの場合かろうじてそういう音楽があると知っていたのはこれによってだった。

クラプトンのはハッキリ言ってピンとこなかった。
まぁ、聴いても合えば全然別ものだね。
高校生の頃のクラプトンの日本ツアーでもやってたけど、薬か酒で完全に飛んでやがったのでボロボロのステージだった。ぼくはＰＡの前の席だったけど半分寝てたもの。
まぁ、歌詞は、こちらの方がストレートだね。

まぁ、そんなものは好きずきに解釈すれば良い。
ただ、レゲエミュージックの強烈なメッセージなどを知ったのは、ずっと後のことだ。

・・・わかんないよ、そんなの。
ただただ、ボブがカッコ良かった。
ボブについては、書くことが山ほどあるけれど、それはまた日を置いて後日。
