雲ぐもは頼りなさげに晴れた空
菜の花咲いて太陽の元
西からの風 草花はなびいいて
ヨルダンの川 木々も震えている
ガザの戦闘は終わったのかい
夢を破壊するダムダム弾
もう飛び交わぬ約束はかわしたかい
西からの風は高貴な精神をこわし
黄金のエルサレムは涙を流している

Clouds drift uncertainly across the clear sky
Rapeseed flowers bloom beneath the sun
A wind from the west stirs the grasses and flowers
The Jordan River, the trees tremble
Has the fighting in Gaza ended?
Dam-dam bullets shatter dreams
Have promises been made that will never fly?
The wind from the west shatters noble spirit
Golden Jerusalem weeps
