私達の現実的定義
ここで、私たちの 「英語会話」 と 「会話英語」 の定義に関して注意しておいて頂きたい
重要なことがあります。
つまりそれは、私たちがそれらを次のように、出来るだけ速く生徒さんたちがバイリンガルに成れる
ように現実的に定義をしていると言うことです。
「英（語）会話」 とは、
「日本語の全く分からない外国人を相手に、主として英語を、そして補助的に他の伝達手段も
用いてする （ための） 会話」
です。
「会話英語」 とは
「日本語の全く分からない外国人を相手に、会話をする時に用いたら良い英語の語句や文や
対話例」 のことです。

About Our Pragmatic Definitions
Here is something important we would like you to note about our definitions of 'English
conversation' and 'conversational English'.
We define them pragmatically as follows so that our students can be bilinguals as soon
as possible.
'English conversation' is a conversation in which we Japanese mainly use English and supple-
mentarily other means of communication toward a person who knows English but dose not
know Japanese at all.
'Conversational English' is English, whether it is a word, a phrase, a sentence or a dialogue,
which is good to use toward a person who knows English but dose not know Japanese at all
in a conversation.
