Number one spot in Tulum for couples that just want to relax

The property is amazing. The view of the ocean is breath taking and the place is so quiet and relaxing. Most of what you hear is the ocean and waves crashing. Plenty of free activities to do. Kayaking, snorkeling, relax by the pool or by the beach. There are rocks on the beach so make sure you have water shoes on. The staff is extremely friendly and are keen on keeping you comfortable. The rooms are very clean and I loved the marble flooring. My wife and I were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary. The staff added rose pedals in a heart shape on the bed and made two bears out of towels on the bed. Very cute and romantic. The food at the restaurant is 10/10 delicious. Prices are very reasonable when you consider how great the food tastes and how much food you are getting. We never felt the need to go out to another restaurant when the food at the hotel was great and convenient. Great variety of seafood, steak, chicken. We did not get sick at all eating their food. This is from someone coming from Florida. Drinks are great, very refreshing Mojitos and beer selection. Breakfast was included in our stay and was also excellent. Wifi connection was great, no issues there. Location of the hotel is also good. Downtown Tulum is about 10-15 mins away, recommend going here if you want authentic food that is affordable. Tulum beach is about 30 mins away, its pretty chique/hippie/artsy strip. Nice to visit but overpriced cloth shops and restaurants. There are plenty of springs/cenotes to check out. Safety was never a concern. To enter the general area by car, you are stopped at a checkpoint by guards that verify your car, your name and what hotel you are going. The guards are friendly and professional. Once past the checkpoint, its about a 3-5 min drive to Cielo Maya. There are other hotels, restaurants, small convenient stores, massage spots and scuba places on the way, which is nice for exploring.

This was a great hotel. We arrived very late and the restaurant accommodated our dinner and it was SOOO good. I highly recommend the Fish and shrimp in white wine sauce! Amazing. The hotel was very clean and our room and beds were exceptionally comfortable. The buyer is amazing and the toiletries are so unique and everything you need is provided. The location is very quiet and serene as is the hotel so if you are looking for places to wander too with some action, this is not for you. If you want to relax and enjoy a quiet, serene vacation, this is definately the place. Beautiful beach and pier! Highly recommended!
