I run a luxury women's retreat business, so, although we came here for a nature and wellness weekend getaway, my review may contain some boss lady bias. Now, the experience: We took the cable cart to Trebevic for our 2-night stay at Pino. We're used to hiking trails, and had proper hiking boots and gear. It was a misty and rainy day, yet, the walk down the lovely forest road with our backpacks went smoothly. We checked in around 15h. As we prefer quiet spaces, we consulted on our room with the very friendly reception manager, Alma, who was very accommodating. We were pleased that our request was met, and our room was the only room on our floor. It was spacious and, as we were high up, the view of the pine trees was breathtaking on all sides. The room was clean, neat, comfy, with a well-stacked mini-bar, and super-soft linens and pillows. My mattress at home is a tad softer, but I slept fine on this one. The restaurant is amazing, and the breakfast was rich, fresh and there were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, like nuts, fruits, muesli, grilled veggies, salads, eggs, but also a wide variety of cheeses, breads, croissants, 'uštipci' which were so yummy, meats, pancakes, cookies, cakes, juices and warm beverages. So naturally, we ended up eating much more than we would have, if this was us at home on a weekend.. Alas, the surroundings are so picturesque, we went for a stroll through the forest right after breakfast, and although we had light rain, the trees sheltered us. When it comes to wellness facilities, the temperature inside was 26 C, and the swimming pool was long and really warm. It started to snow outside, and there I was, lounging pool-side in a bikini. The sauna was already turned on when we arrived on Friday, and Saturday they turned it on upon request (not ours, since we didn't use it). The restaurant is lovely, and our waiter and the cook were amazing, and took into account my food allergies.

Especially ALMA Lots of love to her shes a gem! The in-house restaurant tantalized my taste buds with a diverse array of local and international dishes. The fresh ingredients and the chef's mastery were evident in every bite. A morning breakfast here is the perfect start to an adventurous day in Sarajevo. I highly recommend PINO Hotel Sarajevo Trebevic for anyone looking to experience the heart of Sarajevo while enjoying the serenity of nature. It's not just a place to stay; it's an experience in itself. Can't wait to return!
I had a wonderful experience at the Pino Nature hotel. Every staff member was efficient, pleasant and helpful. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, to feel like at home. The hotel and room were very clean and confortable. The hotel has the perfect location on Trebevic mountain, but just 15 min drive from the downtown of Sarajevo. Food is also amazing. I will definitly come back.
