私にとっては、すぐ近くに旅行代理店、IPフォンのブースがあって非常に助かりました。ローカルに人気のメキシコ料理レストラン、大型スーパー、数軒の屋台もすぐ近くで、ADOのターミナルもスーツケースを引いても歩ける距離です。ビーチ沿いの豪華ホテルのように優雅にとはいきませんが、とても快適な滞在が出来ました。フロントのスタッフも皆さん親切でしたし、オーナーの男性も非常に感じが良く、朝食込みでこの料金は素晴らしいです。

バスでプラヤに到着すると長距離バスターミナルからなら、歩いてすぐだけど、カンクンからなど短い距離で、到着すると少し歩く距離にある。
水が無料で4本、石鹸、シャンプー付、部屋は綺麗。
インターネットは無線飛ばしてる場所から遠いと、ドアの付近出ないと無線が届かない。
ホテルから歩いてすぐのところに大型スーパーが三軒もありとても便利

Amazing Choice for a Solo Black Female Traveler

First... Thank you to the amazing staff at The Grand Riviera Princess! I was so happy with my choice. I was a bit hesitant while I read some of the reviews, but I couldn't have asked for a more amazing trip.
I spent 4 days/3 nights at the resort and opted to stay in a Deluxe Junior Suite with Jacuzzi. My room came with 2 Double beds, closet, personal safe, mini fridge, television, bathroom, and a lovely balcony with seating area. While it is an older property, it is well maintained. The room was clean, and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay (except a microwave - which I really didn't need because All food and Drink is included). Shower water pressure and temp was perfect. Beds were comfy.
On to Food - I chose to dine at the main Riviera Buffet most days, because I woke up just about 1/2 way through the scheduled breakfast time on most days and it was closest to my room. The food selections were pretty varied and included everything from fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, coffee, tea breakfast burritos for breakfast, and Pizza, Empanadas, Rotisserie Chicken, Salad and so much more for lunch & dinner. They have pretty much anything you could think of including a selection of wine and other beverages.
If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, be sure to book your reservation through the hotel app in advance. There are about 6-7 restaurants to choose from aside from the Buffets. For late night eats visit the “5th Ave Sports Bar” Open until 2am everyday.
Getting Around - It is a massive resort so be ready to walk. My shins were literally sore every day. There are shuttles, but they take about 15-20 minutes to come around.
The Beach - I may be a bit biased since I’m from the Caribbean, but the beach was fairly nice… just a bit too much seaweed for me. The staff do a good job of trying their best to rake up the seaweed and they even have a Scarbat machine that picks up the seaweed piles. There are lots of Cabanas and Loungers… just be sure to get t

We were very happy with our stay at the Grand princess Riviera. There was plenty to do here to stay on site all day every day. We played beach volleyball, went to the pool (s), used their paddle boards, played in the ocean. It was seaweed season, but the hotel was out cleaning up the seaweed every evening that had washed ashore. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled with was the food. It was fine, but it wasn't great. After 3 days, were ready to go into town for better fare. The staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean. We would go back again if this is the kind of vacation that we were seeking again. Don't forget to get out and see what Playa del Carmen and the rest of the area has to offer!

Incredible Experience, Beautiful Apartments

I was given a complimentary upgrade from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment, and I was stunned at what I got for the price I paid. The apartment was in a beautiful building, and offered a spacious living room and dining room, with a huge bedroom with a king and a queen bed. All the furnishings were top-notch, perhaps starting to show their use a bit, but really all to the standard one would expect of a luxury hotel. The kitchen was fully equipped and I managed to do some serious cooking, only complaint is that the knives were all pretty dull and I couldn't figure out how to light the oven pilot light, but nothing significant or unexpected from shared rental equipment. The living room offered a ton of seating, and there were two terraces, one of them very large with a table and chairs. Overall, this was the best place I stayed in a six-week trip through Mexico, and it felt kind of ridiculous to be banging around in what was probably a 900 sq ft apartment all alone. Would be great for a family on an extended stay, with enough spaces and rooms for everyone to spend some days just relaxing around the apartment without feeling like they're in each other's hair. A good bargain at twice the price.

The good points:
-spacious and comfy room !
- really nice staff! Alls the guys from reception and the cleaning woman were super nice.
- Nice rooftop/ swimming pool ! Even if you can see the building in construction just in front of you...
The bad points are:
- construction just in front of the hotel (building in construction) so it was really noisy because of that. And the guys working watching and calling you at the swimming pool... Not that pleasant :/
- the breakfast is not good. Only industrial bread and cheap marmelade. Wich is surprising as the little green restaurant make a lots of good (not included) breakfasts and healthy meals.
You could agree on a better meal for Soho clients.

The hotel is conveniently located at 10th avenue, just next to 5th ave. The facilities are clean, a quiet hotel with pool and comfortable beds.
All the staff were always super friendly and helpful. We can recommend the hotel.
It's a 15 minutes walk from the ADO bus station, you will reach the 30th avenue for local foods stands and local restaurants with a short walk, where you will also find quite a lot of stores.
Breakfast is from the "Green and Fit"-restaurant in the same building. You will be offered a coffee, a juice or bowl of fruits and 5 choices of foods. All healthy and just the right size without overeating.
