Anyway, Santa Marta is noisy. This hotel is on a major road and it's noisy at night with honking cars, busses, motorcycles. Random people sitting right outside blasting music! The courtyard for eating means you will wake up with the first guest that is being fed because it's impossible not to hear their conversation and forks hitting their plates! Breakfast is not good. I was given stale bread that was toasted to mask the staleness. Really? I started eating outside. Much appreciation to the woman who not only cooks but cleans your room and opens the gate - Yes the hotel gate is locked and you have to ring the bell and be let in - she works very hard. English is not spoken but they will try if you have even a small ability with Spanish. The shower was ok and sometimes the water was warm but Santa Marta is boiling!
Pick another place if you want to rest. Value for money is good considering.

Lovely big room with great ac and bed. Rooftop pool was tiny and warm. Breakfast was nothing special. It was nice but maybe a bit over priced.
