I have stayed at this hotel on several occassions when staying overnight on shopping trips. The staff are always efficient and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful with a good selection. The dinner menu has a reasonable selection and the servings are quite large. On the occassionas where I have eaten dinner in the restaurant I have not been able to finish the meal. Will definitely stay here again.

My stay was decided on because I had a late flight arrival in Darwin that made it unacceptable to do the 2.5 hour drive home. The check in was very easy and the staff helpful and friendly. My room was clean spacious and comfortable with lovely views over the marina. The included continental style breakfast provided more than enough choices. There was also a breakfast menu if you wanted something more substantial. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Check out was just as easy as check in again with friendly helpful staff. I will definitely stay here again.

Our apartment had everything we needed for the week with an inviting pool and poolside area. It was walking distance to the city centre, supermarkets and botanic gardens. , A slightly longer walk to the waterfront. We’ll stay there again on our next visit.

The staff were nice and helpful.
The deluxe room is nice and refurbished, bedsheets good.
But the good stop here unfortunately.
Cons:
Facilities are dirty
For late check in you will have to access via the bar where you will be confronted to drunk men. Not nice when your 10yo girl is with you and gets uncomfortable looks.
Then a fight started and a man got knocked (not sure if he still alive) right in front of us. Scary.
Got ourselves in our room and couldn't lock the room properly.
To get to the room you will go through stairs that are disneyland for dust and mites.
The location is 15min from the airport but it is in an industrial area, and picking up our motorhome 15min walk from there early morning was again a weird experience.
Overall. Stay away!!!!

Winnellie was a great old hotel motel with aircon, comfortable bed and great staff . It is only an $18 cab to the city . We had a great pub feed and it was a great price. And can’t complain about their half day happy hour of $5 schooners .
