Great location, good hotel

The location of this hotel is honestly unbeatable, it’s not even a minute walk into the castle which has all the locker shops and cafes you could want. Our taxi driver told us his passengers usually say that the location is the best part of the hotel and the rest is average and that’s a bit true. I’m not sure I’d say it was 4 stars. The pillows on the bed were complete rubbish, describing them as thin wouldn’t be right, they were more just a few chunks of fluff in a case and there were only 2 (one each) when we asked for more pillows or new ones since ours were literally falling apart inside they said there were no spare or other pillows in the hotel which shocked me. There also wasn’t a way we could find to put do not disturb on the door for our room, so every day even if we didn’t want it our towels and sheets would be replaced and folded while we were out, might be nice for some people but not really what we wanted. Overall, the price was expensive but the location made it worth it, the hotel would improve a few things though
Perfect location - perfect rooms - ancient run down building

There is a history to this building. On the former Yugoslavia under Tito, this was the first Mall built in the 70's after capitalistic ideas from the West.
The building is run down, there is only a couple of shops left (Beneton). The rooms are large, nicely made, new materials, very nice bathrooms with large showers, even AC - which we didn't use in the fall. Plus excellent beds, what else do somebody want. We were 3 groups, 2 people each, so we were all in the same place. I arranged everything for all the people, and they were very happy for this arrangement.

The room was very nice and clean also the breakfast was good but my AC was broken and set on a timer to go off every hour I told reception about this at 7pm and they said there was nothing they could do until tomorrow morning because the maintenance team was away home and no other room available so as a result I woke up a few times in the middle of the night covered in sweat and had to get out of bed and turn the AC back on so had a terrible sleep not the kind of service you expect for a nightly rate over 100 euros

The center its 25 minutes walking distance… be aware of where you leave the car at the street…

The best room I've ever stayed in Croatia

The staff, Nina, was really kind and friendly. This residence was located in a peaceful place and the view at the balcony was awesome. Nice breakfast with sea view was unforgettable. I am sure this residence would be the best place to stay in Split.

Garden view apartment was lovely however outside space was at a premium. Check which apartment you are booking as garden apartment has no balcony only a tiny patio

We stayed 2 night at this hotel. The room was perfect and the bathrooms was modern and clean. Just a 5 mins walk to the water and restaurants.
I would recommend having them pick you up at the airport.

The hotel was super cute and comfortable. You really get to live in the city center. Easy walking distance to all the things we wanted to see and do. Parking was a little ways away but easy to manage.
