Step Into Your New Season by Joshua & Janet Mills

(Glory Bible Study)

1, Gratitude : Shift past season with gratitude

2, Pray for the Spirit's guidance

Seek the Holy Spirit's directions for the new season. Do not make any majer changes until you receive instructions from the Holy Spirit.

Because where God leads you He will give you peace.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)

Don't hegitate to ask for an advice or mentership withdam from seasoned believers.

3, Release what no longer serves you

Let go habits, relationship, thoughts what not beneficial. You need to cut off ungodly soul tie from your past season.

Do not stay connected with them. If God release you from it, but you stay connected to it, it's against God's will.

It's ok to create boundaries. God set boundaries.

Set boundary. It's kind of spiritual safty.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17) Old has gone

4, Set clear goals: understanding your Divine purpose

1. Reflect on the Past Season with Gratitude

Focus on what you are thankful for in your life. Practicing gratitude can shift your perspective and help you find joy in the transition. Take time to reflect on what you’ve experienced in the past season. Evaluate important lessons learned and how they can inform your next steps. If we learn from the mistakes of the past, we won’t need to repeat the pain over and over again. Acknowledge that change is a natural part of life. Open yourself up to new possibilities and expe- riences ahead. “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (1 Corinthians 11:28, NKJV).

2. Pray for the Spirit’s Guidance

Seek the Holy Spirit’s direction for the new season ahead. Do not make any major changes until you’ve received instructions from the Lord. Also, don’t hesitate

To everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. — Ecclesiastes 3:1, ESV

to ask for advice or mentorship from those who are seasoned believers (see Proverbs 11:14, 15:22, 19:20-21). “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5, NKJV).

3. Release What No Longer Serves You

Let go of habits, relationships, or thoughts that are not beneficial. You may need to cut ungodly soul-ties from the past season. It may also be necessary to create new boundaries as you prepare to launch into new territory. The level of access should always be determined by the level of trust. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

4. Set Clear Goals

Understand your divine purpose and what needs to be achieved in the new season. This will help you de-clutter and define what’s needed for the vision ahead. Establish both short-term (daily to-do list, weekly, monthly and yearly goals) and long-term goals (five-year, ten-year, and thirty-year plans). “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it” (Habakkuk 2:2).

5. Be Flexible and Embrace Change

New seasons come with new opportunities and new challenges. Be prepared to adapt your plans as circumstances change. Flexibility can help you navigate unexpected challenges. Be open to new connections, new ideas, new experiences, and new growth. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

6. Determine to Go Forward with God!

Regardless of what it may feel like, the Holy Spirit is leading you forward. It’s onward and upward. Stay heaven-focused, with your eyes set on Christ as the Author and Finisher of your faith. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, MEV).

7. Seek Connection

A major mistake some make in shifting seasons is immediately cutting off and leaving behind all past relationships from the last season. Surround yourself with friends, family, or other believers who can offer encouragement and support during your transition. It is essential to also find new connections and develop new relationships with those who are heading in the same direction. Networking and building a bigger community around you is key. “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24, NIV).

8. Invest in Personal Growth and Self-Care

Prioritize your physical, emotional, and mental well-being during this time. Engage in activities that nourish your spirit. Commit to learning and develop- ing new skills. Take time to care for yourself so that you can properly care for others. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52).

9. Release the Angels Ahead of You!

Activate the angels on divine assignment to move ahead of you, to supernatu- rally prepare the way and pave the road with glory before you. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

10. Take Action

Start taking small steps toward your goals. Even minor actions can create mo- mentum. Small steps in the beginning lead to greater discoveries along the way. Sowing financial seed into your future is one way that you can begin taking action. Picking up the phone and making some calls or going for a drive to “scout out the land” are also ways you can begin taking first steps. “Behold, I am do- ing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19).
