インスピレーションを得た浮世絵「広重・深川洲崎十万坪」

　浮世絵は、現在の江東区で、海を望む景勝の地であった。しかし、死者1万人を出した安政の大地震直後、海に棺桶が浮かび、オオワシが天空から見守る図を描いた意図は、何であったろうか?。写真は、加賀市の鴨池で、冬季三万羽の渡り鳥が飛来する。大きな湖に見えるが、夏期は水田で、冬季のみ水を張る。藩政時代から坂網猟が盛んで、制限された鴨を捕ることで、増えすぎを抑制してきた。人間の知恵によって、自然のバランスを取ってきたのである。人間の知恵に期待したい。
