浮世絵写真作品No.053「時鐘堂の夕暮れ」

インスピレーションを得た作品「川瀬巴水・岡山乃かねつき堂」

　川瀬巴水は岡山を訪れた時、すでに鐘つき堂は空襲によって焼失していたが、これを惜しんで描いたと言われている。写真は、加賀市大聖寺で、藩政時代に作られた時鐘堂で、近年復興された町のシンボル。

Hint・Hasui Kawase・Bell temple of Okayama

  When I visited Okayama, I was destroyed by fire, but, as for Hasui Kawase, the belfry has been already told to regret this, and to have drawn it by an air raid. The symbol of the town where a photograph was a time bell temple made in Daishoji, Kaga-shi for the affairs of a feudal clan era and in late years was revived.
