In a clever combination of astronomy and advertising, beer brand Corona installed a fun billboard in New York City that cleverly turns the moon into a lime wedge. On certain nights of the month—from certain angles—the crescent moon would align itself with the billboard, making it look like a piece of lime resting on a Corona bottle. According to the video below, the next viewing of this amazing spectacle will happen today and tomorrow night at 15th Street and 9th Avenue in Manhattan.

First Taste is a charming short film created by Saatchi & Heckler and was played between speakers at Sydney’s recent TEDx event. Director Matt Gilmour said he was inspired by the reaction of his two-year-old daughter to trying new food. So Cute!
■レジス・ロワンサル(監督／脚本)について 映画制作を学んだ後、スタッフとして制作現場全体を経験するために、撮影アシスタントやセット、音響などを務める。1998年、短編『Madame Dron』で監督デビュー。続いて短編『Simon』(01)、ジェーン・バーキン、マリアンヌ・フェイスフルらが出演するドキュメンタリービデオ『Rendez-vous avec Jane』(05)、短編『Belle, enfin possible』(05)を監督する。劇映画は全作、脚本も担当している。その他、フランスのシンガー、ジャン・ルイ・ミュラのPVも手掛ける。長編映画監督デビュー作となる本作で、セザール賞第1回作品賞にノミネートされ、今国内外で最も注目されている監督だ。
■デボラ・フランソワ(主演)について 1987年、ベルギー、リエージュ生まれ。2005年、ダルデンヌ兄弟監督の『ある子供』でデビュー。この作品はカンヌ国際映画祭パルムドールに輝き、フランソワもセザール賞有望若手女優賞にノミネートされ、たちまち注目される。その後、『譜めくりの女』(06)でも同賞にノミネートされ、『Le premier jour du reste de ta vie』(08)で同賞受賞を果たす。2010年には、フランス人女性監督が阪神・淡路大震災の被災者のその後を描いた『メモリーズ・コーナー』に出演、西島秀俊、阿部寛と共演する。その他、ソフィー・マルソー主演の『レディ・エージェント 第三帝国を滅ぼした女たち』(08)、『21番目のベッド』(09)、ヴァンサン・カッセル共演の『マンク ～破壊僧～』(11)などに出演、今最も期待されている若手女優のひとり。
