インディアンの教え｜侮辱したりけなしたりされて育った子は・・・

よく、育児本に引用されている言葉があるのですが、
たまたま見つけたので、シェアします。

「インディアンの教え」として広まっている言葉ですが、
子は親の鏡だな、と思わせる深い内容です。

子どもたちは、
こうして生き方を学びます。
批判ばかり受けて育った子は、
人をけなすようになります。
いがみあう家庭で育った子は、
人と争うようになります。

恐れのある家庭で育った子は、
びくびくするようになります。

かわいそうだと哀れんで育てられた子は、
自分が哀れな人間だと思うのようになります。
ひやかしを受けて育った子は、
はにかみ屋になります。
親が他人に対して嫉妬ばかりしていると、子どもも人を羨むようになります。
侮辱したりけなしたりされて育った子は、自分に自信を持てなくなります。

励まされて育った子は、自信を持つようになります。
寛大な家庭で育った子は、我慢することを学びます。
ほめられて育った子は、
感謝することを学びます。

心から受け入れられて育った子は、
愛することを学びます。

認められて育った子は、自分が好きになります。
子どものなしとげたことを認めてあげれば、目的を持つことの素晴らしさを学びます。

分かち合う家庭で育った子は、思いやりを学びます。

正直な家庭で育った子は、誠実であることの大切さを学びます。
公明正大な家庭で育った子は、正義を学びます。
やさしさと、思いやりのある家庭で育った子は、他人を尊敬ることを学びます。
安心できる家庭で育った子は、自らを信じ、人をも信じられるようになります。
和気あいあいとした家庭で育った子は、
、この世の中はいいところだと思えるようになります。
