Today's article was about the Recon 2, which is a technological instrument that enables doctors to check human health. Developed in UCSD, Recon 2 is the tool that explains the processes of human metabolism, meaning that you can know how what you've eaten is digested or how it is converted into energy. It also helps doctors detect in which parts a cancer is in a human's body. Using Recon 2 is like using Google Map. You can zoom in or out easily to look at some specific parts of body. With more scientific understanding integrated into its programming system, Recon 2 will become more useful as a medical check-up tool.

Question was that in Japan such kind of technology is used in human healthcare or not. I think these technologies are often used in Japanese medical activities. Most of us have a medical check-up annually where we need to have X-ray investigation, need to have electrocardiography test, and so on. Each of them uses scientific technology to check our body, which enables doctors to check our body easily, and in detail.
Although those technologies are really useful and effective in order to discover some diseases like cancer, however, you need to consider the bad effects gained possibly from the investigation itself. You had better understand the fact that you are exposed to radioactivities whenever you are having your body checked in a X-ray device. Which means that some of your body cells are often destructed in the investigation. It always the case that the bad effects to your body gained from the medical check exceed the advantages. You need to closely see whether you have to undergo all of suggested check-ups or reduce the number, I believe. (21st April, 2013)
