シンガポールにきて、商談中に『 How come ?　』 という表現を聞き

そういえば『 Why 』　とどういった使い訳するんやろ？

って疑問に思い、米国人を旦那に持つ知人にメール

以下判明　

Why is followed by a verb:
- Why is the sky blue?
- Why do you cry when you laugh?

How come is usually followed by a noun (the subject)...
- How come the sky is blue?
- How come you cry when you laugh?

なぜ？どうして？の意味自体に違いはないみたいだけど、

次に続く文が疑問系（動詞＋主語）の形であるのか、肯定文

（主語＋動詞）の形であるかの違いみたい。

業務上 Why (Why not..?) 問いただす必要がある時、

help me understand....と返すのが、プロやで～。。。

との事。
