Cycle of Spiritual Guidance is one of the things I want to learn.

Discover your identity:  This is the step that we recognize our identity which is I am a child of God. I can become connected with him and his power. I have been skipping my prayer before work or study recently, therefore, I decided to pray before any important or challenging activities.

“Use these quiet moments for self-reflection and prayer. This will help you know that you are God’s child and will give you time to explore and develop your relationship with Him.”

Have faith to act right away:  Sometimes, I do not respond to the promptings of the spirit right away, and I probably have missed countless, fruitful opportunities.

“When you trust your inner voice enough to act on God’s guidance, you show Him your willingness to trust in His timing and His plan, which ultimately allows Him to have an even greater hand in your life."

The reason that I was not able to break my limitation is that I did not give tries to these promptings because of the fear to fail.

“Acting right away does not mean you act thoughtlessly; it means you move forward with intention and with faith.”

Be at peace with Heaven’s timing: My biggest hurdle has been dealing with self-confidence when things do not happen at my timing. I have blamed myself for not reaching the goals I had been striving to reach. My paradigm shift occurred thru the following comment,

“But this is the step that really reminds us that we are striving to align ourselves with God, and that means that sometimes things won’t happen as quickly as we’d like them to or in the manner, we’d like them to.”

For me, aligning our self with God means we are under his training program. We are not yet good enough or skilled enough to reach the goals. I can trust my God for not reaching these goals.

“In fact, when you find yourself in one of these situations, try changing your perspective so that you’re focusing more on what you might be able to learn from that period of waiting.”

Waiting and pondering will help me a lot!

Live Well:  My Kendo (Japanese traditional martial art) master told me once, “Swinging your sword carefully with intent and living well are the same thing”. When I live well with intent, I will eat right, exercise daily, clean my office (I work at home), and pray daily. When I remember to “live well”, I can discipline my life more effectively.

“Living well will allow you to cultivate the discipline needed to move from the person you are today to the person you hope to become in the future. It will also bring you an abiding sense of peace, and will fill you with the positive, loving, uplifting feelings that come from living a life that’s aligned with God."

Repeat: And the whole process will repeat by itself if I put my effort into it.
