Wednesday BIBLE INSIGHTS Read the texts and fill in the blanks Texts are from the New International Version of the Bible. 1. “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place , but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” as this?” (Esther 4:14). 2. “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. ” (Psalm 34:12, 13). 3. “Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues ” (Proverbs 10:19). 4. “Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent , and discerning if they hold their tongues” (Proverbs 17:28). 5. “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen , slow to speak and slow to become angry , because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires ” (James 1:19– 20). 6. “We all stumble in many ways.
