The positive way the people of God respond to Nehemiah’s challenge is comforting. Is there a cause or an opportunity to serve someone in need that you and your friends can do as a group? Nehemiah’s individual courage is remarkable, but some of Christianity’s finest moments are when a community of people get together and do the right thing.
