Day 5 ... Stonehenge & Avebury tour ! ①

The following day, I joined Mad Max Tours again to Stonehange and Avebury + some other places !

Again met the driver+guide at the same meeting point as the previous day, and the guide for that day seemed very nice, and he said, he was asked to look after me by the previous day guide. How nice !

So the tour started and the first destination was ..........................

Stonehenge ! Of course !!!

I was trying to listen to the audio guide, but I cannot tell anything actually, I am afraid ..........

Leaving Stonehenge, we continued our way to the next spot, on the way, we could see the 2nd white horse on the hill. (The first one we saw was before the Stonehenge visitting, but it was far and I could not take any pictures.)

I took this picture from the bus. Had been looking forward to spotting these horses on the hill ! Happy♪

Then we arrived at another stone circle, which was in a village Avebury ! I had always wanted to come back to this place for 19 years since when I went to this place for the first time and it was the very first time I had been to England !!!!! So it was like the starting point of my history being Anglophile ! (←rather exaggeration ? ha ha)

At Avebury stone circle, you be close to the stones, and you can even touch the stones ! or hug the stones !!! Here, our guide showed us a little experiment ............

Because of the mysterious energy the little bars cross each other.

Then the other experiment was like this in this photo, you just hold a little stick beside the massive stone, and the bar moves 90 degrees naturally !!!!!

I tried to do it myself and ................ it happened !!!!! Amazing experience !!!!! (I did not feel the power, actually, but still interesting !)

The area was quite big so I could not walk the whole part of it, but I liked the place very very much !

The mound, Silbury Hill, which was just next to the stone circle.

Getting on a bus, then we could spot another white horse on the hill.

'The Cherhill Horse' !

This one dates from 1780.
