Have got some vegetables again !, this time some potatoes and a pumpkin, + a half of watermelon !!! Merci beaucoup !
Then I made soup with these ........
The first I tried was 'vichyssoise' the famous cold potato soup !
I used my blender, and that was my favourite part ! as I have not used this machine many times yet, and I did not know when I can use this.
Blending the ingredients with this device, I put this in the pot with some milk.
Voila !!! Does not look very very good (I wish I had some parsley .......), and taste was a bit too thick. Never mind !? I will try it again and I am sure I can do much better next time !
Then, I tried again some soup ......... this time with the pumpkin !!! (not in the same day, of course)
The pumpkin was really hard to cut !!!!! like a rock !? So cutting and peeling part was the most difficult for me .......
Boiled the cut pumpkin with some water and ......
BLENDED ! with the machine again !
Then I put them in a pot with some milk, and started warm ......... it said in a cookery book 'do not heat until it boils !' So I was looking at it carefully ....... and waited for a while.
VOILA !!! I am satisfied with the result this time ....... it was a success !!! It just looked liked the one in the book and I was happy ♪ And tasted quite good !!! (I guess it easily looked like the picture in a book as the pumpkin are always this colour ......... but still happy for me, ha ha ha)
