Summary
There are two kinds of euthanasia, Active euthanasia and Passive euthanasia. Active euthanasia is taking direct action to end a life. On the other hand, passive euthanasia is suggest end of life. Euthanasia can be voluntary, involuntary and non-voluntary. Voluntary is with the fully informed consent of the patient. Involuntary is against the will of the patient. While non-voluntary is without the consent of the patient.
There are four basic positions that passive or active euthanasia is morally permissible or wrong.

James Rachels
He is medical researcher. His statement is that active euthanasia is morally preferable to passive euthanasia. He said that passive euthanasia make patient longer suffering. The reason why Wennberg used it is that position of Wennberg may be also the same as James or that the idea of James is useful to understand that active euthanasia is morally preferable to passive euthanasia.
