旅ではこういうホステルを好む。バンコックのは極汚でシンガポールのは途上国の病院より清潔。インドネシアではロスメンという安宿に泊まると駄々をこねると地元友人に限りなく軽蔑されるのだ。インドネシアの人達には僕みたいな先進国から来た人間がホテル、それもインターナショナルホテルに泊まらないのかどうしても不思議なのだと思う。僕はただホテルの部屋で一人になるのが嫌いなだけなんですけどね。ホステルでは旅の話も聞かせてもらえるしエキゾチックな果物の食べ方も教えてもらえる。
Prefer such hostels. In BKK extremely dirty and in SIN much cleaner than hospitals in many countries. In Indonesia I prefer Losmen. This is classed lower than hostel and locals sleep there. Kind of B&B, many are private homes. People may wonder why I don't go to international hotels which I can afford. I just hate to sit all alone in my hotel room. In hostels I can listen travel stories and I learned how to eat exotic fruits, too.
