My new theatre project titled “ Utahime “ is near to complete. I wrote this time in Japanese language. Utahime or 歌姫 means singing princess – a street singer prostitute. The main theme of this play in 5 acts is Love and Death. I show here 3 time periods – 1867 / 1945 / 2009 - of deathes. Utahime who actually is a Jizo – turns to be a sexy lady in 50th - a symbol of love accompanies all 3 dead. Only death-celebrated person can see Utahime. She loves in womanly love, she loves in motherly love and she loves in mercy love. My own style if you like, I put many dance and song scenes as always. By the way do you know what Jizo is? Jizo is a small stone Buddhist figure at street side. Actually Jizo is unborn child – Mizuko (Water Child) – unwished and unwanted child, an aborted child. In Buddhist believe under common people say that unborn baby cannot cross the river to Rengoku (Land of dead), child play at riverside with piling up stones singing “ One for my Daddy. One for my Mammy” Sad story, eh?
Much more sad thing is that we all forgot how to love someone.
Love also has to be calculated, love is also not cheap. Hahaha.
