" Gion Tsujiri 祇園辻利" is very famous tea house in Kyoto.
They started the business from 1860.
They opened a tearoom at the 2nd floor of their head
shop which is at Gion Kyoto. The room started from 1978.
At the room they serve green tea sweets that is now
very popular especially for ladies and young people.
Now they have a shop at Kyoto St, and other area.
This is the entrance of the oldest shop nad tearoom.
Sometimes you need to wait over 1 hour.

We ordered "Cha cha (green tea) parfait".
Taste is really good. Good green tea has very
refreshing smell even turn into syrup.
If you visit Kyoto in summer time, I recommend
you to have a shaved ice with green tea syrup!
As I told you, " Gion Tsujiri 祇園辻利" is too famous.
I tell you another great greentearoom that is also
very good. I often went there when I was a student.
"Kyo Hayashiya 京はやしや" is next to Sanjyo bridge.
There is not so crowded. You can visit more easily.
They have branches in Aoyama and Akasaka Tokyo, too.
