以前このバンドをこのブログで紹介した時は
カントリーとパンクを合わせ持つバンドで
心から音楽を楽しんでいるバンドと紹介しました
俺の洋楽のスタートはQueenやBon Joviだったといえます
つまりロックです
それもハードなものではなく万人うけするロック
そこから本当に数多くのジャンル
そしてバンドに出会ってきて
気になったのはすぐCDも買ってみたりして
とにかく雑食に広く浅く
気に入ったものは深く（Queenなんかはアルバムを全部集めちゃいましたｗ）
聴いてきたんですが
その中でもこのジャンルは素晴らしい
アイリッシュ・パンクと呼ばれるジャンルで
その名のとおり、パンク・ロックの姿勢とケルト系民族の伝統音楽を融合させた音楽です
つまり使用楽器でいうと
普通のパンクロックなどのギターやベースやドラムに加えて
アコーディオンやバンジョー
マンドリン、ティン・ホイッスル、フィドル、バグパイプなど
伝統音楽に使用される楽器を多く使うんです
カントリー系の音楽が好きな方はこのジャンルは本当におすすめですが
誰でも一度聞いてみるとハマるかもしれません
