I called my two daughters in Tokyo last night after almost a three-months interval.
They sounds very fine and seem to be doing well.
They told me some updated information about their life in Tokyo in a couple of month.

Aiko got the chairperson of her school's students' committee. She used be the vice chairperson and this time she took that post. She said it keeps her busy, she needs to meet with other students to discuss matters several times in a week. I thoght she will turn to 15 soon but it was wrong and she will be 14 on NOv 7.

Rinko is now in the forth grade and 9 years old. She will turn to 10 soon on Nov 13.
What makes her fun at school lately is the craft work class. She makes things like animals or vehicles using buttons, woods, etc.

Also she said she likes reading. I promised that I will look for some books as her birthday present. The genre of the book will be about adventure.

She said she wants to eat "Yaeyama Soba." So I will ask my mother to make is for her and send it to them soon.

When I asked them what their possible birthday present would be, they mentioned Wii. ( I guess it is a computer game using a TV as monitor. I told them that I will make some research on the product in the internet.

I was happy to be able to talk with them last night.
