The first city-sponsored Halloween Party was held at HIRAE Kouminkan (the Hirae Community Center) yesterday.
Elementary school students in the city were invited and almost 100 kids participated.
The city's new CIR, Stephanie planned the party and her ALT friends and other Japanese staffs helped her.
Stephanie and ALTs, and some kids showed up with unique costumes of Halloween.
Autumn, Erin, Shone and Stephanie entertained everybody with a wonderful short drama named "The Haunted House" written by Automn and it was played in English.
Besides, we had several games for kids to be able to participate in and they also enjoyed Halloween candies.
The party was reported in local newspapers the day after.
