テイラー・スウィフトの『Long Live』を和訳しました。
先日The Era Tour the movieを観てきたのですが、
あれめっっっちゃくちゃ最高じゃないですか？！
声出せないなりに周りも楽しんでいましたし、
なんと言ってもライブに向けたモチベーションがめちゃくちゃ上がりました。
やっぱり世界のテイラー、演出もダンサーさんも衣装も最高すぎ！！！！！
来年のチケット課金してよかった！！！！！(黙)
曲の背景
テイラーがこの曲について以下のように語っていました。
This song is about my band, and my producer, and all the people who have helped us build this brick by brick. The fans, the people who I feel that we are all in this together, this song talks about the triumphant moments that we've had in the last two years. We've had times where we just jump up and down, and dance like we don't care how we're dancing, and just scream at the top of our lungs, 'How is this happening?' And, I feel very lucky to even have had one of those moments, nonetheless all the ones that I got to have.'Long Live' is about how I feel reflecting on it.
「この曲は私のバンドメンバー、プロデューサー、そして私が一つ一つレンガを積み上げるのを協力してくれた全ての人について書いたのよ。一緒にいてくれる全てのファンへ、この曲は今までの2年間で私達が "勝った" 瞬間について歌っているの。一緒に楽しんだり落ち込んだり、何も構わず踊り狂うときもあれば "どうしてこんなことになっちゃったの？！" って叫びたいときもあったよね。そんな瞬間でさえ、経験できたことをとてもラッキーなことだと感じているの。この曲は、そんな思いを歌っているのよ。」
スターダムにのし上がった今だからこそ改めて言いたい周りへの感謝、今までの経験や感情がつづられています。
この曲は3作目のアルバムである『Speak Now』に収録されており、リリース当時「成功を歌うにはまだ早いのでは？」という意見もあったそうです。うるさいですね^^
テイラーは自身の成功に驕っているわけではなく「この成功を、この瞬間を覚えていよう/みんなの幸せも願っているよ」と歌っており、優しさを感じます。声だけではなく心も綺麗な人なんだな～と思いました。
