AURORAのインタビューを読んだ上で和訳していきます。
新曲「Heathens」についてオーロラは次のように語っています。
“遠い昔、イヴは悪と善の木に吊るされた禁断のリンゴをかじった。その行為によって、彼女は人間に自由意志を与えた。私はそれをとても美しいと思うし、彼女や彼女のような女性に敬意を表したいと思ったの。彼女らは少しずつ、この世界で私たちに自由を与えてくれた。彼女や彼女のような女性たちは、この世界で少しずつ私たちに自由を与えてくれた。好きなように生き、探求し、味わう自由。私は、人生はあらゆる色で生きるべきだと思う。だからこそ、私たちは異教徒(heathens)のように生きるの”
