柿の葉の 散り果つ枝に 実はあまた 秋の陽受けて 色づきゆくか
令和六年十月十六日
先日わが町のある農家の軒先に柿の木あり
夏の緑葉はすでに散り果てぬ
なれどあまたの実は枝先に残りたり
秋の陽の長く実を照らせばやがて熟しゆくべし
The other day I saw a persimmon tree in the garden of a farm house in my town.
The green leaves of summer have already fallen.
But there are plenty of fruits left on the twigs.
The autumn sun shines on these persimmons for a long time then they will eventually ripen.
